Mezzo-soprano Lisa Marie Gerstenkorn currently serves as Adjunct Voice Instructor at Pittsburg State University, where she received her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance as well as her Bachelor of Music Education Degree.
She has performed as a Resident Artist with the Ohio Light Opera in Wooster, Ohio and the College Light Opera Company in Falmouth, Massachusetts. She has also performed with Springfield Regional Opera, Heartland Opera Theatre, Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park, Pittsburg State University, Independence Community College, and Pittsburg Community Theatre. She is currently performing with the American Opera Studio in Kansas City, MO and is in her sixth season performing with the Tulsa Opera Chorus in Tulsa, OK.
Ms. Gerstenkorn is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and a member of the music fraternity Pi Kappa Lambda. She has also served as Adjunct Voice Instructor at Kansas City Community College in Kansas City, KS.
